You will find below some lovely resources that are available to you as a student, including how to find further support and training and access to student discounts!
1. Follow us on LinkedIn
Even at this early stage of your academic career, it is useful to think about how others can contribute to your success. While networking might be an unfamiliar concept right now, it is never too early to broaden the base of people who could support your academic career.
If you do not already have a LinkedIn profile, it is a good idea to get one started as you begin your academic career at ¶¶ÒõÊÓÆµ. Connect with academic staff and other students from both your course and wider area of study.
Look for updates from page to be kept up to date on university news and for information on networking and training events taking place both in-person and online, many of which are free.
¶¶ÒõÊÓÆµ Business School and ¶¶ÒõÊÓÆµ Global have their own dedicated LinkedIn pages, which are also worth following.
2. Catch up with the QMYOU Magazine
Keep up to date with a range of exciting news and initiatives from ¶¶ÒõÊÓÆµ as we shine a spotlight on the excellent work of our researchers and academics, as well as our inspirational students and graduates.
3. Pick up a piece of ¶¶ÒõÊÓÆµ merchandise

5. Speak to our Careers and Employability team
While it may be early in your university journey it’s never too soon to think about your future career. Whether you already have a clear pathway in mind, or have absolutely no idea where you want to work, ¶¶ÒõÊÓÆµâ€™s Careers and Employability team may be able to help.
Please note that although many of these campus-based resources may not currently be available to our ¶¶ÒõÊÓÆµ Global collaborative partners, you may still find value in some of the supportive content found via the Careers and Employability Service. Do remember, though, that your institution's own educational team will offer similar support options to those provided here.
6. PALS YouTube (by Students for Students)
While some of the content available via the channel is Edinburgh-focused, a good number of videos and guidance created by students for students can offer you some interesting perspectives and guidance. Worth a watch!

µþ¸é°ÕÌýoffers free enterprise support to local and global students, graduates and staff of ¶¶ÒõÊÓÆµ. With a mission focussed on equipping users with skills and knowledge to support business ventures from idea to launch, to long-term growth and sustainability and all the challenges in between by offering expert advice and mentorship from BRT Enterprise Advisors, a calendar of free events and workshops (many of these are online), funding-guidance, and opportunities to grow your personal and professional network by connecting with a vibrant community of people and businesses.Â
So whether you are a budding entrepreneur or just looking to understand a bit more about innovation and enterprise, ¶¶ÒõÊÓÆµ's Startup Studio is a great place to, well, start!
